Feedback please...I was diagnosed with asthma, bx and pseudamonas years ago. Was wondering how many days others can be off antibiotics between flares? Could you please state if you have bx alone or what overlapping diagnosis.  Asked similar question yesterday but only got one response so far (thank you operalyn!)...thank for for any responses😊

Hi Debra,

I'm probably not a typical example because my flare up seems to come in October - January. Then I'm 'well' again.

Hi Debra I've ad bx for over yr up to now I've ad 4 lots of antibiotics but they don't seen to work consultant is on about putting me on antibiotic every day but is bit concerned cause it can cause liver problems to which I. already suffer with cirrihos of liver so waiting to hear from.him cause asking liver specialist to see what he says I've got to keep dairy of how many sputum.samples I take to doctors see wat antibiotic im given hope this helps you regards Tony

I guess i am lucky havent needed antibiotics for months but i do a lot of lung clearance. Having tests in a couple of weeks to see if i have Asthma as well.

Have had Bx for years and early on i needed antibiotics all of the time.

I have Bx. Seem to need extra antibiotics every few months now. I take azithromycin three times a week.

I’m waiting on scan to confirm BX and since xmas I’ve had 7 lots of antibiotics nothing seems to clear it waiting to go see specialist. I actually got phone call to see if I could go see him this afternoon instead of next week but haven’t had scan and he told me if I hadn’t had scan by the time my appointment for him came around  I had to cancel which I had to do so going to take even longer to get answers.
