Anyone take any good remedy’s that is good for anixtey and when feeling anxious all the time
Lisa
We are all different when it comes medications, your GP knows you and the medications if any you are taking now. these problems need to be taken into consideration.
Talk to your GP he will move you on down a treatment pathway that will take in consideration you condition needs. This hopefully will move you on

Don’t want to try medication from Docs wanna try herbal remedies first as don’t wanna be hooked onto any drugs just need to have something that calms me down

You could try Health Food Shops, there are various herbal medications to try.
However you need to understand the need to explain what medications ? you try in this manner. Some herbal medications can cause problems with scripted drugs.
Your GP is there to support you and treat your Health Concerns, sometimes medication need to be taken over the medium/long term. Everyone makes informed choices. Understand herbal medications may bring about problems as well
In life with a mental health condition we need to make informed choices, whatever we do we take advice that is good and firm. Life is full of risks and sometimes we need to run with something we may not wish to proceed with to become well once more
You make your own decisions right or wrong however we need to take responsibility for our actions and understand we may not be happy with the pathway offered.

Really agree with BOB here, things like chamomile tea, relaxation techniques are the least harmful options, there are over the counter sleep aids like night nurse or anti allergy tablets that can help you feel relaxed or drowsy, but you should always discuss these options with a GP first even if natural remedies. Workers in health shops are not medically trained and don't know if something is suitable or safe for you individually, speak to the doc about trying natural remedies. Also Headspace is a great anxiety app x
No. I'm hopeless at taking pills but if you hear of some pls let me know good luck to you
Five tips to combat anxiety, depression, insomnia and drug withdrawal:
1. Drink warm lemon water every morning (before brushing teeth)
2. Allow morning sunlight to directly touch your skin (converts to Vitamin D and melatonin)
3. Maintain proper sleep hygiene
4. Eat dark green vegetables
5. Practice belly breathing (in and out through nose)
