Went doctors he was on about not taking citalopram for 2 nights then going on a different antidepressant got the shakes at the mo and anxiety been on citalopram nearly 4 months mot sure weather to wait or not any suggestions' anyone I hate all this crap.
You should consider trying a different tablet. Anxiety / depression can take a long to recover from.
Sorry your having such a horrible time of it Frill x
Did you see any positive side effects from the time you have been on Cit? Has it always given you the shakes or is that withdrawl? I was told by docs it takes 3 months to start working but can be longer. Mine is just starting to work after 3 months of anxiety etc it is calming down, and that's after upping dose form 20 - 30 and taking in the morning instead of evening has made a difference
I'm sorry I don't know the answer. You could try changing dose or if this is more than a bad blip and you really think it is not working at all for you, you could change. I've heard good things about mirtazipine and duloxutine but unfortuantly it is so hard to tell. I would imagine coming off them suddenly will be really hard, I'm surprised that doc said come off suddenly rather than ween as heard this can be very difficult. But they are the proffessional so probably know what they are talking about. Sending you warm wishes in this tough time for you.

Thank you.x
