i went to the doctor 3 years ago with a sore vagina.
originally i was treated for thrush but when that didnt work she said she suspected herpes and sent me to the clinic. the doctor there agreed that it looked like herpes. although the swab came back negative i accepted that i probably had it.
a week ago i got sore again so started anti viral meds but its got no better, if anything a little worse.
im now wondering if it is herpes after all? im in my late 40’s and have only ever had 2 sexual partners which were both long term.
go back and get retested to be sure it looks very sore could be a few things it could be something to do with the skin id defo go back for a second opinion
i think you should see a doctor right away. it looks extremely painful..i hope you feel better soon

get a blood test!!! igm for recent exposure dont let them guess on you!!! and if its been long get a igg test
