Dear Susan

To get, some meaningful replies you will need to tell us a lot more about yourself and your surgery.

All the best, Richard

Susan, I am five months post surgery and I, too, am getting groin pain. For about three blissful weeks I was totally pain free, so this is very discouraging. I have had a steroid shot and I am on stronger pain relief, but the discomfort remains. Walking is an issue because the more I walk the worse it gets. Have you spoken to your doctor?

What approach?  Doing Therapy?

I'm about 10 weeks post op and I'm getting pain on the other side now....so frustrating as I'm finding the operated side feels so much better, even so I'm finding both legs the muscles are aching...are you doing the exercises? I find they help...I have no pain now in the groin area of the operated side...but I have started taking 1 x 200mg and 1 x 500 paracetomal a day and that's really helped....

I had a posterior approach October 2017 all has been going really well with the new hip

However I am now on the waiting list for my left hip as it has now had enough and my operated hip I think has been taking the strain I am even using my stick in my right hand to help support the left u noperated hip and the right new hip is having to take all the strain what can I do I am now getting groin pain on the operated side as well as pain in the left hip that is waiting to be done
