Growing bump under upper shaft (Lymphoceles?)

The bump under the upper area of the shaft has been growing in the past couple months.

It started out small (2-3 mm) and not very noticeable unless during erection. There’s no pain nor rash-like redness, only the physical abnormality. Now its grown into a larger triangular-vein shape and a bit on the side as well.

Most of the online pics I’ve seen that are similar with Lymphoceles. There’s no physical injury I’m aware of around the area, my only sexual activity is from a month ago(protected, and in addition to daily masturbation.)

Will this bump decrease over time? and if so, how long would it take?

Dear Adam,

It certainly looks like a lymphocele and your description would fit the condition. It’s not serious. You haven’t disclosed how often you have sex and/or how frequently you masturbate, as prolonged erections are the prime cause of the condition.

In answer to you question about how long it will take to settle, it will depend on whether you’re prepared to forego sex and masturbation for a period of time. Most cases will subside if the penis is ‘rested’ for a few weeks; however it may return on resuming vigorous sexual activity. It will be up to you to see if you can balance your sexual enjoyment against its risk of recurrence.

Rgds,
Adhari.

@adhari83393 Thanks for the reply. I’m not very sexually active these days so masturbation is the primary source of movement in the area. Usually once a day for 5-15 minutes with low to moderate force, and I do avoid that area. Sounds like I might have to be more restrictive with my sexual practices..

Just curious, could this also be a symptoms of HPV by chance?

Dear Adam,

Warts grow ON the skin; if you look carefully your lymphocele is a lump UNDER the skin.
