Gums bleed when I brush my teeth every day

Hello everyone,

Whenever I brush my teeth in the morning I notice that there is some blood on my toothbrush. My gums are not painful and they are completely fine all day but still there is blood when I am brushing my teeth every day. This has been going on last some days and I thought it would go away but it has not. How long does it have to be before I go to the dentist about this? Is this even something that I should be worrying about? I have seen those adverts about ignoring bleeding gums and then the teeth fall out – they are a bit scary! Although they are not bleeding all the time it is just after I brush.

Hi dear

Its not to worry so much I think its gingivitis you have to get scaling and pilishing done your teeth from a good dentist.

And you can also get some gum paint from chemist it will help you.if you cant buy .

Do saline qater gargle.

This is starting of gum disease so don't avoid it go to dentist and and get your teeth clean .

Your Dentist will tell you to keep brushing until the bleeding stops.  It will!  Do you floss your teeth?  That helps with bleeding gums too

The advert with the blood, is true to a degree but remember, they are trying to get you to buy something.

Does your Dentist have a Hygienist at the practice?  You would benefit from an appointment and s/he will teach you how to clean your teeth properly

Make sure you aren't brusing to hard. You could add flossing and a mouthwash to your regime and see if that helps. Otherwise a visít to the dentist is advisable. You might just need a good professional clean.
