Could this be a genital wart? It appeared roughly 1 month ago. I had an HPV PCR done but it was negative for the sexual transmiteable types. Can the PCR fail?
I went to a dermatologist who referred me for a PCR test which was negative. The sample was taken from the spot with a little brush the same they use for a pap I believe. Could the results be wrong. I will have the spot removed and biopsied in 3 weeks but am worried about infecting my GF.
