Had an ECG and chest x-ray done, now im worried that the beta blocker I took hid results.

I had a panic attack yesterday and I have been struggling with health anxiety for the last 3 weeks. I went to the emergency room because I wanted to know for sure, turned out everything was fine but the night before when I was having my panic attacks my dad gave me one of his beta blocker pills metoprolol and I forgot to disclose that to the hospital. I had a chest x-ray and blood test too. Could the beta blocker I took have hidden any cardiological diseases I might have from the chest x-ray and ecg? They told me I was fine and it that it was just anxiety but now I feel stupid for not telling them.

Here are some of my results -

Thyroid healthy

Heart healthy

Lungs healthy

Liver and kidneys healthy

Blood Pressure - 121/54

Weight - 155 lbs

Temperature - 98.6 F

Pulse - 62

Respiration - 16

Oxygen Saturation - 99%

You’re good, I used to take metoprolol for anxiety and during that time went to the emergency room and cardiologist several times because I was so worried about heart problems. I always disclosed my meds and  never once was any doctor of specialist concerned about the beta blocker throwing things off.

Hi,

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the medication you took triggered off your anxiety, set your heart off into a funny rhythm, that medication is to treat actual heart conditions, high blood pressure and migraines, not for anxiety.
