I had bad anxiety for a week never had it like that before the doc gave me off brand zoloft only been taking it for 3 days already feel normal should I keep taking it everything says it takes weeks to work sp I feel like I might not need it lmk asap I called my doc but the supposed to call back
Hi Dante, Zoloft didn’t work for me. I’m taking Lexapro but, if your feeling better don’t stop taking it. Your symptoms will mostly likely come back. I tired 2 meds and they didn’t work. I swore them off for 6 months and my symptoms came back worse so, I’m on Lexapro now. They do take weeks to work. Just so you know and this is ONLY what happened to me while on it. Zoloft made me lose a lot of weight the first few weeks. I was always running to the restroom. Apparently, for some people also, you can eventually feel numb with no high or low emotions while on it. This does not happened to everyone and I know a lot of people it’s helped but, again that’s how it effected me so I had to stop it. I think 3 days on it is not long enough for true results to stick. You do what’s best for you though. It you think you can handle it without medication you can always stop and start back up again. That’s what I did. Sending you hugs!!!
Idk I dont think it has had time to work and I’m already back to normal thats why I dont think I need it I only took it for 3 days now
