I had the surgery on the 29th it was the second try to get the kidney stone and they said they got it blasted. I had the stent taken out on the 4th of august. On the 9th of august I developed once again sharp pain on my left front right below the rib cage. It has been present ever since. Is this normal? I am a veteran and have been seeing drs at the va and not sure if I should get a second opinion. So far my primary dr has said it will hurt for a month or so but I have had no response from the urologist
thanks in advance
If you are interested in dealing with your stones from a homeopathic perspective then I can give you something to deal with them. It has worked for me and maybe you.
Hi I just had laser surgery for my kidney stones yesterday and have a stent for 4 weeks instead of the 2 we thought due to a complication. I was just curious how you have been and if your stones were all blasted or if you had to do the procedure again. Hope you are doing g well.
Hello, I was wondering. What kind of homepatholic are you talking about I've been suffering for more than 2 years with 3 kids its taking a toll on my mind and body. Thank you
Hello, I'm interested as to how things went after your ureteroscopy?
Are stents always left in after this procedure?
Hi ctheseadog, it's your friendly urologist here.
May patients who have stones and stents removed sometimes develop pain afterward. This could be a sign of infection or small stone fragments that have not yet passed. I recommend a urinalysis and some sort of imaging such as an x-ray or CT scan.
