Had my procedure Friday. ..it is now Sunday. .i never experienced that kind of pain in my life !!!...i was told i wouldn't pass anything but i did!..it was disgusting. .constant sweating. .fatigued. ...did anyone else have severe leg cramps...i feel lifeless...help!
I'm sorry! I have been in contact with a doctor in S.california about this procedure but so many people talk about the pain! How big were your fibroids and what were your main symptoms? Did you stay overnight? I hope you start to feel better soon!
One was the size of an apple then i had multiple little -medium-sized fibroids. ..my main symptoms were heavy bleeding. .painful cramps and what turned out to be the worst frequent urination going over 10xa night ...i can say that the frequent urination stopped literally already...i did stay overnight. .my stomach went down already...i know there is pain in recovery. .im just looking forward to being happy and healthy again. .i suffered with anemia too because of the fibroids
I have the same symptoms although my heavy bleeding had slowed down I think because I'm close to menopause ( I hope). Let us know how you are doing . Hang in there. I bet you will start to feel better soon!!
There is a lot of pain but for me it was totally tolerable with the pan meds I was given. Norco. I had to take them with antinausea meds. I only needed them for. 2 or 3 days. After that ibuprofen was fine. I also had the night sweats for about 3 months. Then it abruptly stopped. I'm currently 7.5 months post and my symptoms took their sweet time to resolve. And it seems continuing to get better. Patience is your friend here.
Sorry to hear about all your pain! I am 17 days post UFE and I am still not 100%. I did not pass anything but I've seen on here where women have.
I did not get leg cramps but I still have pain in my pelvis primarily when I go to the bathroom. When my bladder releases pain shoots through my bladder area and down under my leg.
I feel like this procedure Is passed off as simple and a three(ish) day recovery. I think they need to reevaluate all of the literature and writing's because this was awful for me.
I have mine scheduled for the 17th. Plse keep me updated on your condition. Hope you get well soon.
I had so much pain! I couldn't wee, poo , Pharr etc. Was discharged on the 4th day after my first poo. It's now 3 weeks and I feel much better and happy I did the procedure. Initially it's really difficult as you might have constant and non stop pain but I suggest you take natural remedies to extract gas from your stomach as that's what I believe causes severe and constant pain. Just google foods that help remove gas and take them
And you'll feel better soon.
