I had agonising pain in my mouth for about a week and as I was not registered with a dentist I had to phone the emergency dentist. I arrived for my appiontment and told her exactly where the pain was (which was a throbbing pain in the top left side of my mouth and in the bottom right side on my mouth. She said I had bad tooth decay on my wisdom tooth on the top left side of my mouth and that would be what is causing the pain, so she drilled my tooth cut the nerve and then filled it (the tooth needs taking out)
I left with rather a lot of pain still in my mouth but thought it would go soon, but it just gradually got worse as the week went by, I then booked in to the emergency dentist again (this time it was a different dentist) he said that it was the bottom right side of my mouth which was the problem as I have an abscess.
He drained the abscess and covered it and gave me antibiotics (this was yesterday) now I am in the worst pain I have ever had, but it's my gums mainly that are hurting and not in the areas of where I have had work done, it hurts in my front four teeth, I have tried cocodimal and ibuprofen and it's not helping at all.
I go away tomorrow does anyone know of anything. Good to deal with this sort of pain or anything to numb my gums!! I can't eat or sleep so anything will be fab, thank you
