Had surgery on shoulder a year ago and still in severe pain

Hi I am really struggling. A year ago this month I had surgery on my right shoulder. I has no cartilage in the clavicle joint and bursa was shredded. They cut part of the bone out and shaved the rest of my bone and bursa. Well I have had nothing but the same burning aching pain I had before the surgery. I have had four months of pT afterwards too. I cannot do any vacuuming, cutting veggies or writing do to pain getting worse.  My doctor sent me for a second opinion and that was a waste of money and time. How do people cope with this without feeling pain and depression. I have this problem for over two years and it affects my life greatly.

Thanks for listening.

Take each day as it comes .. there will be good days and bad days.. Fractured mine shoulder Feb 2016 and still have pain in movement.. offered more physio but declined, muscle pain can take quite a while in some cases as the body attempts to continue healing.  Take your painkillers religiously, Yes, it will get you down but keep trying..  I have a blind in my kitchen and I was determined to stretch up to open and close it - I attempted to keep reaching up every day till I could reach the cord, it was annoying and painful, but I pushed through it as much as I could, so dont give up.. set yourself goals and take time to try to achieve them.. smile smile smile

"your doctor sent me for a second opinion" ugh code phrase for one of the doctor's buddies.  Okay... it sucks that you are experiencing this crap.  Shoulders suck period.  Do some research; search out a doctor of your choice for a second er third opinion.  What did your PT suggest??  Good luck
