Hello...
I was member of this forum maybe 6 years ago or so....when I had horrible episodes of itching. Then one day somebody here suggested me to use baby towels instead of regular toilet paper and that did it for me for the following years. Back then I had perhaps ten extreme itch episodes a day....and now these have been reduced to 2 or maybe 3 per day. I just wonder why. I have hemorrhoids and with the use of moistened baby wipes I have succeeded to keep the itching very controlled. I always bathe by night and use head shampoo (because it has lots of bubbles) to wash my area, but it is then when I take advantage and do a good scratching. What may be going on? I am 61 now. I just wish to stop all the remaining few itch episodes I have daily. Am I ok using hair shampoo or should I use a special soap? Regards.
Based on your explanation that using baby wipes improved your itching episodes, and based on my experience a bidet would change you're life. In my case it all but eliminated my issue which had been ongoing for years. I had tried everything. There are affordable bidet attachments out there now which attach to any toilet. Just try and use it to clean after every BM and at least once or twice a day in addition to that.
Well, is something to consider....so you use that without cleaning first with toilet paper?...or in place of it?
Hi there. It’s definitely not ok to be suffering daily with this still. I suffered for over a year and went to many specialists. I would definitely choose a wash specifically for the nether regions like Lactacyd or the equivalent.
Also I do believe it’s internal. What eventually healed me was a specific and gentle cleanse. I’ll send you the link to my story and how I found healing in a private message xx
Will somebody recommend using Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Aloe Vera Formula? I enjoyed a relatively nice time of some 3 years using baby wipes, had one or two mild itch episodes a day that weren’t extreme. Now and while keeping using the wipes I have started a brand new episode that has right now some ten days ongoing with severe bruising and swollen to my hemorrhoids. How can I break the cycle of going to the restroom for a daily bowel movement if now the itch gets worse? I am sitting most of the day because I am a graphic designer. I keep cleaning the area every night at my shower.
