My mum and my brother are going to go get levels checked. I was discussing the different symptoms with mum and some that i mentioned she had besides the ones I knew about.
Wow I too have hemochromatosis and have had both shoulders operated on due to arthritis and frozen shoulders

Sorry for late reply, I have been away for a few days.
I find this very interesting. I have had only one medical professional tell me that there is a link between haemochromatosis and frozen shoulder, and that was the rheumatologist I saw at the end of last year.
Have you ever had a repeat episode of frozen shoulder? I have had both shoulders freeze up at different times once. Both of these episodes my ferritin was quite high. I am hoping that I never have a recurrence of frozen shoulder as it was soooooooo debilitating and painful.
