Hi there, had a haemorrhoidectomy about 4 years ago with a very painful recovery and problem now back so going for the Halo or THD procedure very soon. Has anyone had this done and how was the recovery from it?
Hi Karen, I have read about the Halo procedure which sounds like one of the better options, however I understand it is not available on the NHS? I have not been back to my GP since my last banding op was performed so have now decided to do so; are you having it done privately?
Hi there I'm getting mine done on the NHS luckily both hospitals in my area do this procedure. I went into a website on THD and there was a section where you can put your postcode to see if it performed in your area or your nearest place and luckily they have been doing it in ayrshire for over a year now.
