I had an Internal Haemorroid removed about 6 months ago.... everything healed up. But i still have soreness, and whenever i sit down, it feels like the hair around my anus is being pulled, And it feels Raw like fecal matter, or Mucus from the anus is irritating my behind. My question is... Is this normal? after 5 - 6 months, Is the nerves down there just super sensative, or should i consider talking to a doctor? I visited my Surgeon 3 different times, since the procedure, and he said "everything's healed" But if all is well, why do i still feel pain back there? I'm just not sure what to do... so i figured i'd ask on here...
Hi; I’m 13 weeks post-op and can’t sit normally due to swelling. I was told by my surgeon that it will take me up to 6 months to be healed. So you’re 3 months ahead! regarding my issues, doctor told me though the recovery and healing process of the wounds are completed in about 6 months, more time is needed for the scars to be softened. Scars are formed after any surgeries upon surgical wounds, they play the role of skins and normal tissues but actually they are NOT SOFT. It takes 6 months to 1 year even more for scars (either internal or external) to soften and function as normal tissues. This phase of wound healing iscalled “remodeling phase” …I think you don’t need to be worry. Be happy that you passed the 6 months!
I’m still at 3 months post-op and am depressed so much. Hope this information could help you and please give me some hope too ![]()
