Hair loss and fibroids

Hi all! I've suffered with fibroids for several years and saw a steady increase in the amount of hair I am shedding. I'm Indian, my hair was very long, shiny and thick. Since the start of this year my hair loss was at its worst, I was losing several handfuls a day, and my hair is a shadow of what it was. I was diagnosed with Telogen Effluvium in January 2020, and the cause of it was the fibroids and excessive blood loss and clots. I had my myomectomy at the end of July, and the bleeding has stopped now, as all the fibroids were removed. From Jan- July the hair loss was really bad- handfuls a day. Post surgery it seemed to settle (i was losing barely ten hairs a day) but over the last week it feels like its getting worse again. Its not handfuls but i can see an increase in the amount of hair that comes out when i brush or wash it. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have any advice on what to eat/ do to help? i have an underactive thyroid and i take several vitamins too (iron, vit d, biotin, b12) thanks!
