Okay, so last night I guess I got out of bed half asleep and not consciously all there. I remember snippets of being up. I remember looking at my phone vaguely, and feeling weird or like something was wrong. Then I remember vaguely goin to the bathroom and putting water in my face, for some reason. And then Inactually woke up, up. And I started feeling dizzy and my heart started pounding so fast. I went back to my bed to lay down while this was happening. It happened for about a minute or two. I woke my husband to tell him. and It took my a while to go back to sleep after that.
My question is, was it a panic attack? Or could it be something else wrong with my heart? maybe not a heart attack, cause I’m fine now.. but something else..? I’ve never had this before. I have had a panic attack but it happened during me started new anxiety medication. I’m currently not on any meds. I’m now terrified to go to sleep..
Yes, that sounds like anxiety. While I can’t say with certainty, I’m no doctor, but it sounds like textbook anxiety. Probably not a heart issue, my worst panic attacks happened similarly.

Sounds like Sleep Walking if you are walking around the house then waking up. This an be caused by an Anxiety especially if you are suffering stress during the day or evening.
You need to relax yourself before sleep, try Mindfulness. and Breathing Techniques before you sleep.
Sometimes this type of situation happens only once or twice and stops. If it becomes more of a problem you should talk to your doctor, explain what may be causing this problem

There is something called a waking dream.
For me it began when I started taking Remeron. I woke up I the middle of the night. Was aware that there were two men standing next to my bed. Long story short I was terrified and fell down three flights of completely dark stairs. I talked to a psychologist about the incident. She said I had experienced a waking dream. And if it ever happens again turn a light on. I had already stopped the Tension but the night events continued for sometime. But each time the hallucinations appeared I would turn on a light and they would immediately disappear. It's been a few years since the last occurrence.
