I had surgery 2 weeks ago. Stitches came out today for my second toe for hammertoe surgery. I also had a bunionectomy. I have a pin in second toe for another 4 weeks. My hammertoe that had surgery is so swollen and numb. Is that normal?
Hello Teresatabile, my hammertoe was swollen and numb for quite a while. It's still numb in certain spots and it's been almost six months ago that I had my surgery. I have heard that the healing process takes a while.
