# Hands changing skin and nails?

My hands have change over night. I have POLYMYOSITIS.&nbsp; I have been on Prednisone 5mg &nbsp;for over 20 yrs.&nbsp; My hands have a weird feeling in my finger tips.&nbsp; They feel&nbsp;very smooth but they look like have&nbsp; been in the water too long. Around my nails are getting very hard. The skin is like stone almost all&nbsp; around nails now. I use lotion every day I also get a manicure every 2 wks&nbsp; &nbsp;Even the woman who has been doing my nails for yrs said not hangnails &nbsp;just hard skin. I have thin skin from prednisone on my hands and arms but I have this wrinkle look to the fingers which is new&nbsp; Anyone else???
