I’m having a terrible day on my own aswell though so I should have just gone to see family

Hiiii, Symptoms will come and go. It is different for everyone. My first time on citralopram I had very soon side effects and it took 2 weeks. Its not a magic pill though, you have to do a wee bit of work on accepting anxiety…try not to fear the fear. So easy to say but hard in practice. xxx

I’ve been having a pretty rough day myself. Took 0.5 ativan yesterday evening, then 1mg last night and then another 0.5 this morning because my anxiety was through the roof and I wanted to at least be decent for Christmas. Even though the ativan had wore off I still feel OK. Just going to take Zopiclone tonight and try to avoid any ativan for about a week.
I really don’t want to get in the habit of taking them in the day now too.

nothe my first time on Celexa was on it 3 years ago for being sick and anxiety and depression came in that time .
Was on higher does then 20 MG it was then hard and it’s now hard to go though it again
the side effects are just horrible it starts early morning while still in bed and goes on and on of and on headache weird feeling foggy the pain on right side temple the it goes , nausea of and on strong then low and the shakes are something else . Yes I have anxiety as soon as I am up if it gets to high I take a lorazapam 0.5 MG as u know already I’m on 5mg Celexa did not know that this little does can do so much side effects 
today is day 10 and I hope it sup side’s soon . I’m on my bed fatigue and anxiety no depression this time . The anxiety was on its way out on its own but Dr thought it would be good to help it out with 5 MG Celexa
what is your thought on all this , I think I told u the anxiety came as I went though surgery and more

I forgot a question , is it just me that gets crying spells when anxiety is high or comes ?
Also is it just me that the anxiety puts scary thought in my head , like never getting out of this mess , staying this way , going to die this way and so much more like I have something else wrong with me , the meds not working for me to get of them . That I will never get out of my bedroom and of the bed . Can’t at this moment hendle loud noise like TV so not being in the living room. Also is it just me that I have no motivation to do anything . Don’t have joy , wants or likes , please anyone help me and let me know if all this is normal on Celexa . So scared to stay like this . Yes only 10 days in on Celexa 5mg for anxiety. I cry a lot with anxiety and the fear it brings sorry fogs

hi guys so pleased you had a great day. mine was ok - pretty busy during the day but did have a really nice christmas evening and even managed some dancing! i agree with you Lou - this illness does make you really appreciate the good moments and the special people in your life.
hi babyboo you are very early days on celexa. you will have side effects for at least a couple of weeks and you will really need to up your dose too as 5mg is not therapeutic so you need to try and be strong and accept that the its side effects and will pass. the anxiety does get worse initially and yes its totally normal to have crying spells. i still cry now when i get really anxious. if its really bad ask your doctor if you can have something for the anxiety while you go through the start up phase. you will get better just stay strong and be patient x

Yes, that’s how you can feel . Starting citalopdam is similar to withdrawing from it and I have the same feelings, particularly over the last couple of days. I’m on 5mg from 10mg for the past 6 months and haven’t stabilised. Hopefully, because your dose is low, you will stabilise soon.

also I’m only taking it for anxiety that was almost gone by its self
yes the side effects are bad don’t like them at all
was shocked to get so many from only 5mg Celexa
the 5mg even makes me very weak and fatigue
gives me bad headache and some shakes and nausea
I have lorazapam to help me though the bad anxiety attacks
questions u get bad thoughts with ur crying spells ?

yes I am on 5 MG that’s what I was put on 11 days ago
to get rid of the anxiety that I had and was on its way out
I don’t know how many people know this but anxiety can go away by its self
depending what kind u have .
So yes back to me being on 5mg and it’s not worked in yet I still get anxiety attacks and cry a lot and get scary thoughts , do u get them?
Also as of 2 days now on Celexa I feel very fatigue and weak u have that .
Yes I pray in do time I stabilize out thank you on the 5mg I was told to take to get ride of the bit anxiety I have left after healing up from surgery

Withdrawal symptoms seem to be the same as start up symptoms and yes, I’ve had the fatique, weakness, anxiety attacks and crying, to name but a few. Symptoms for me seem to come in phases, recently I’ve been going through a dizzy phase. These phases for me seem to come and go and then repeat themselves. The stress of Christmas hasn’t helped either.
You’re very early days yet but it will get better. I was on them for 10 years with no problems. Reducing has brought on problems for me, I should have gone slower. Good luck!

questions, did u have anxiety attack as soon as u got up in the morning like nausea really strong and weird headache ? I get that so far every morning sometime earlier or later depends . It come at 3 am or 5 am or 7 am and it stays until I take something for it like a lorazapam 0.5 MG or 2 depending on how bad it gets up there . yes I get dizzy when I get u to do something and fatigue u got that ? It’s so nice to write to u and the answers u write back , thanks so much. I know no matter what size of MG u take u get side effects.
Staying on 5mg day 12 so far . Still very fatigue and headache and nausea but it should go in time . They say I read it takes 1-2 weeks for some and for others it can take 4-6 weeks . I pray I’m in the 1-3 week ranch . So how are u coming along ? Are u still on Celexa ? If so what amount u taking and why like for what ? Depression or anxiety or both ? Can’t wait to here back from u oh 1 more questions when does the wants and joy and energy come back ? I can’t even stand watching TV or noise right now , is that normal with Celexa okay that’s it for now lol
