Hope all you lovely Mums had a good day despite depression. I had some tears as feeling low, but saw my children and some of my grandchildren. An emotional day. Love and hugs helped me through the day.

I second that. Happy mothers day to all those lovely mum's suffering from depression, you are much loved. A special happy mothers day to Mum's suppoorting their children with depression; you may not hear it enough but your effort are vital. Nobody can recover on their own.

I had a pretty mixed day. Actually your'e posting has just reminded me it is Mothers Day - totally forgot up till now!
My own mum is in her late 80's and in a care home not far from us, and she has only been there a couple of weeks as she is too frail to cope after a fall and hip fracture. She has Alzheimers. I have visited her, but its usually quite emotional and I just didnt feel up to it today, although I really love her. My lovely husband went to see her instead. I feel pretty guilty about it. Just dont want to end up in floods of tears myself. I just want to be a stronger person, so I can be a better person to those I love. I think thats a good message to end today on, and maybe tomorrow will be better.......
