about two and a half years ago, i noticed this hard lump in the back wall of my throat. at first, i could feel it sticking out, so i reached in with my finger and it feels as hard as a rock and is whitish in color. i’m guessing it sticks out about 2 millimeters from the rest of my throat. when i cry, sometimes it feels like it swells up- but not enough to block my airway. it doesn’t hurt at all. my mom, her boyfriend, and my grandmother are all medical professionals, and when i asked them about it, they didn’t seem worried- so i just brushed it off and forgot about it. i’d hoped it would go away on it’s own. it hasn’t grown at all and it’s still painless. does anybody know what it might be? a cyst maybe? i can’t find anything online relating to this. thanks!
