Have any of you ever had this and does it sound like herpes? No pain just general itchiness in the vaginal area (from hair stubble) and I noticed this lump on January 1st. Way under the skin. I thought it went away and I felt it tonight while showering. Flesh colored mainly. Maybe slightly red but it feels hard when I press the area. No other symptoms.
Could be a cyst. Doesn't sound like herpes, which appears on the surface.
Thanks, yeah I thought so but I so often hear people say they notice a lump or bump and perhaps they aren't describing it correctly. Cause from what I know of herpes, it's on the surface and more "sore" like.
Even when it's a bump, it's on the surface (for herpes). If yours is deep, then it's probably just a cyst. I have had a couple before I got herpes. They usually resolve on their own or you can lance it with a sterilized needle if it gets bigger.
Yeah it's within the skin altho a tad swollen/itchy but I guess that happens with cysts. It's just uncomfortable, tnx for advice!
