Alguém já fez Botox ou preenchedores desde o diagnóstico de artrite reumatoide?

I have asked my consultant and nurse they said it's still fine to have ? Was just seeing if anyone else has had treatment like this ?

I know people might think it's silly but it's me and I had these things done before I started in September !

Thanks peeps X

Hi Katie, I've never had Botox, but I'm sure your Rheumatologist could answer your question, I don't think it's silly, whatever you do to feel good! Hope it goes well, have a great day!

I do both botox and fillers and have had no problem with either.  Good Luck!

Aw really that's good to hear !! I have my lips done regular but haven't had them done since being having flare up ! Do u bruise and swell a lot after I'm just weaning of steroids then the lady said was fine to do ! Do you know what filler they use ? Thanks Katie x

I find that I don't heal as fast.  My bruising takes longer to heal.  I use Sculptra as a filler and absolutely love it.  You should be able to do anything you want and be fine when it comes to cosmetics.

Yeah I found a doctor in Manchester who is a ms and auto immune specialist but who does fillers and Botox ! I last had juvederm and radisse but this doctors said there to thick as fillers ? I'm booking to see him next month ! Can't wait ! I dont mind a bit of bruising x

Rheumatoid arthritis affects the wrist and small joints of the hand, including the knuckles and the middle joints of the fingers, which can be very painful. So that’s why, I would like to suggest the Botox for this purpose, because it paralyzes our muscle for six months or more means you will not feel any pain, and meanwhile in that duration you can take its treatment.
