Trying to find out some more information about it, as I am considering my doc to give me this test...Any feedback would be helpful.

just looked it up on google it's a study of the transient time of food in your intestines
I agree, doctors here in the U.S.are all just doing guesswork and using the Internet themselves. Unless you're bleeding or have a broken bone, you might as well diagnose yourself.
