I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 18 months ago and not very well educated on it if I’m honest. The past few months I’ve been experiencing light headidness and was wondering if it could be related as go has not found any other explanation. Also if you can tell me any other physical symptoms you have experienced with this illness as I just don’t know what is what anymore. I don’t know if things are related to my anxiety or my UC or if there is something else going on. Due to see my consultant next week but any help wud be much appreciated as driving myself mad
hi Suzanne if you are losing blood you will be dizzy and could be anemic. I had uc when I was 16 and had ileostomy at 19 as I lost 4 pints of blood in 1 year. so if this is happening go back to doctor to do tests for anemic. and keep an eye if you passing a lot of blood etc. hope this helps.

I often get dizzy this could be because of blood loss you may need iron tablets to help I also get mouth ulcers quite badly , sore red eyes and suffer from the cold I’m never warm!!!!
