Has Anyone ever gone back on medication they took before

The decision is down to me now so please no one tell me to go back to my psyciatrist or dr!

I am trying to gather as much insight as I can as to weather or not I should get back on zoloft !

The first time I was on 100mg, I had side effects the first month of night sweats and increased anxiety ! For the rest of the nine months I was amazing !

I just want to know if I get back on them again what to expect as I hear many different things my drs say  shouldn’t have many side affects as my body is used to the medication

Can anyone from experience please tell me ? I am going to start 25 to get back slowly and then 50 !

I’m also fearful of weight gain and sexual dysfunction both of which I didn’t experience the first time. Does anyone know when these two side effects kind of happen ? If I get back on medication this time it will be for a lot longer - about two years

100mg is a big starting dose

Hopefully you won't have the night sweats starting at a lower dose. I have been on antidepressants several times and always have increased anxiety upon starting. This is common for a lot of people. I could live with the night sweats instead of the heightened anxiety I feel. As a matter of fact, I am starting Zoloft tomorrow and am terrified of the side effects I will have. I hope you don't have any. I don't believe anyone can state if and when you will have weight gain or sexual dysfunction. Hopefully you won't if you didn't the first time. Let's hope for the best!

Thank you!! Yeah I was really bad last year

It’s just annoying starting up again if I have increased anxiety as I have to work and can’t tske many time off! I’m going to start on 25 for a week ! And settle at 50 , what dose are you prescribed to take ?

Weight gain terrifies me ! So would sexual dysfunction!

My psychiatrist is starting me on 25 mg. For 3 days then 50 mg. For 3 days then 100 mg. Same with me about work and anxiety! If I gain considerable weight, I will ask to get off them. I would rather be thin and depressed than gain 40 lbs and a fatso! That would make me more depressed! That's just my thought though.
