HI Butterfly,
I know it is very frustrating and a constant battle and at the moment I am trying to get on top of mine.
I came off Amitrptyline as when on a higher dose I felt detached from the world and it was not helping much with my daily issues with migraine, especially vertigo.
My breakthrough came with Pizotifen, but now I am again having issues with my hormone hemiplegic migraines, and am on a mission to beat them so I can lead a normal life.
At the moment I take 3mg of pizotifen and that keeps the vertigo at bay and the daily ones.
I have cut out a lot from my diet, including, red meat, gluten, sugars, sweets etc and processed food.
Most of my dishes are egg, chicken, fish, rice, fruit and veg and nuts - still lots of possible meals
I was taking omega 3 (only seven seas work for me) and centrum multi vitamin.
I have just added b2, magnesium citrate and feverfew to this and am hoping that will make a difference although it can take 3 months
I have topiramate to try and verapamil - both have horrible side affects and i tried a few days and then decided that i will just stick to my diet and supplements as my job is ending soon and then if no change i will try them, although i really don't want too!
I am experimenting with asprin too at the moment so will see how that goes.
I have read so many threads online but think we need a thread of what we are doing and the outcome so we can have a list of possibilities and ideas to help people, what do you think?
