Has anyone experienced impaired judgement whilst taking Citalopram?

I have noticed I have been much more outspoken since taking Citalopram and I have also made some poor decisions. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this whilst taking Citalopram.

I have noticed that I have been more outsapoken too but I put that down to no longer being too anxious to speak up. Being aware of it can give you more control over it if you are worried about it though. If you are worried about it you can always ask your doctor about trying a different medication, after all it's about making you feel better

I would say it's your confidence returning. Not a bad thing so long as your not p*ssing people of๐Ÿ˜œ

I somewhat relate, my 'bullsh*t' threshold was low when on Citalopram and I would let me opinion be known to anyone who crossed my path and did something that irritated me.....like if I opened the door for someone and they walked in without even saying Thanks, I would let them have it. Yes, sometimes the Citalopram can up the angst factor, and it almost feels like thought processes are being rewired.

My worst experience was when I once went cold turkey, and then I was possessed with a fit of complete outspokenness that cost me my (admittedly sh*tty) previous job.

Now that I'm off, I'm a little gentler, calmer, and I try to let things slide
