I just heard about MLS Laser Therapy. I wondered if anyone out there had used it as a management for pain. Input greatly appreciated.![]()
I saw a chiropractors ad for what seems to be the same therapy. The only thing that concerned me was he didn't accept insurance for the treatment which sometimes is a tip off that it isnt a fully accredited and accepted. I would run it through a medical school or mayo clinic web site and see what they have to say about it.
Thank you, I will.
I am an MLS therapist and I have been using the laser for the past 6 years. I have had positive outcomes as well as negative. Most of the negative outcomes came from patient's that weren't compliant with the course of treatment. Meaning they did not follow the treatment plan as advised. I have patient's that have had little to no feeling in their body to being able to feel everything after 10 treatments. The laser is not covered by insurance because it is seen as a cosmetic device. Just like inserts are not covered by insurance, certain medications are not covered etc....
