Have tried numerous creams for it, want to try Emuaid, not sure I want to keep spending money on something I have no info. on.
Has anyone used it with success?

I've used emu oil on its own as it is an anti-inflammatory whether used externally or taken internally. You might want to check the rest of the ingredients listed.
Hi, I use it at night. I think it helps with itching. I use Aquafor in the morning and Emuaid at night. It's pricey but worth a try. It doesn't get rid of it and I deal with tearing all the time but it seems to keep things moisturized.

I have read a lot of good feedback, my concern is u must not stop using the steroid cream even if u haven't a flare up, u must maintain. Also the price for a 2oz tub was about £70 to order to the uk. If u do go ahead would be interested to hear yr feedback xx
I thought about it, then decided to go with the main ingredient..... Emu oil.... Which cost me about £15 nd has worked well in conjuction with borax.
The Clob works best. That is what most Gyn Doctors prescribe. I use it every nite. Use the Emuaid during the day to keep the area moisturized.
I used all those steroid creams by prescription. But the longer you take them, the thinner your skin will become. Plus other side effects we aren't aware of. I use Perrins Creme Complete. Been using it for over a month I think. Hard to keep track. Should be writting things down. It got rid of the lesions I had, I use it 2x a day, it's itchy for a few minutes, but then stops. I'm happy with it, but it is pricey. I keep hearing about the Emuaid. I don't use steroid creams anymore, I will only if Perrins stops working. Hope it won't. Nice to get all the feedback. Thanks
I'm almost finished with possibly my 3rd tub of emuaid and will be ordering more. I love it! I believe it reduces need of steroid. Great itch relief. Seem to keep skin healthier, but it's not a cure. Greatly helps me.
I'm finishing my second pot. Great itch relief. Use steroid (well non steroid alternative protropic 2x week). Coconut oil and emuaid in between. Have purchased 3rd pot. Also have emu oil for variety. I like emuaid as it's an instant itch reliever for me.

What is the non steroid protropic? Is it over the counter or a prescription?

Protropic is the alternative to dermavate. It's more expensive so doctors tend not to prescribe it often due to price. I can't use dermavate so this is why I use it
Hi. I'm new, unfortunately, to this wonderful group. Sorry we are all here but how wonderful to feel you can ask questions and learn. I was diagnosed this week and am still in shock. I keep crying. Been a rough year already and this didn't help; then Dr Google has really scared me. I was told to get otc cortisone cream and come back in a month. She mentioned I might need to go to a specialist and be that it could lead to cancer. After watching the video on here, where he says to ALWAYS use your steroid, I'm confused that so many are not. I feel like she should have put me on Clob right away. Are you having good luck with steroid treatment; any side effects???? And advice welcomed.
Yes I have used it. It really helps the burning and itching. I'm not sure about scar tissue yet as I've only been using it a short time. About 1 month. But I do recommend it. Try the First Aid creme first. Best wishes
Yes I do use it. Try the First Aid creme. It stops the itching and is very soothing. I use it only when I'm not applying the Clobetasol.

willow, clobetasol is considered the best treatment for LS according to many western doctors. It reduces inflammation as it is a vasodilator. However, it is VERY VERY potent, it is the highest grade potency corticosteroid on the market. so if you do get it prescribed, please use very sparingly and only on the areas where you have active LS. and wash hands very carefully after. The reason many here dont use corticosteroids or use them very sparingly is because it can cause problems, and if your body becomes depend on them (due to overuse), then your body stops producing its own natural steroids which can lead to very serious health problems and compromise organs. Clobetasol and other topical steroid creams also cause skin to thin, which means skin down there is more delicate. But it has been known to slow down the process and prevent skin cancer. But it does that by reducing inflammation (and dilating blood vessels), thus the reason many people are looking for natural alternatives that perform the same or similar function. Clobetasol has many side effects but as mentioned the main one is skin thinning.
I had loads of side effects using Clobetasol and it burned my skin and came out in a rash. Waiting to see the Gaenocologist but want to go down the natural root. All mine started up after being taken off hrt after 26 years
