Forgot to mention Gwen. Have you thought about Fibromyalgia? That is something else being checked out.
Hi Gwen Not sure my first message I sent got through to you. Apart from the diarrhoea I have very similar symptoms to yours. It started with my legs being very weak and muscle pain. It has now spread to my whole body. Some days are worse than others and I have difficulty in functioning some days especially the mornings. I had a blood test and inflammation of the blood cells showed up. My doctor put me on a course of steroids as he thought it sounded very much like Polymyalgia. However there was no improvement so that has been ruled out. Some talk now of test for Fibromyalgia. I also have an appointment to see a Neurologist but not till the end of August.. Please let me know if you get any sort of diagnosis and I will do the same. Good luck
Still no results. Have seen a Neurologist but he couldn't help. However feeling much better. I have been taking coQ 10 which has made a hugh difference to my energy levels. This has helped me cope better with pain which I also keep under control with Ibuprofen. Have had all sorts of test, even Lyme's Disease & Hemochromatosis. Still waiting results of these but it is really a long shot and don't expect this to be the problem. I also have an appointment to see a Rheumatologist but not until mid December!
