Have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid since I was 14 years old

Hiii...my English is a bit weak.. Now I'm 21with both knee bone on bone and right hip fused and left hip also bone on bone...want communication with someone as nobody except my mom understand my pain

Hi Nish taa, I'm so sorry to hear about all your pain. I too, have RA and sometimes the pain is awful. I'm alot older and newly diagnosed with RA but have worked in physical therapy for a long time with patients with osteoarthritis and severe bone on bone pain. I know the pain is awful. I hope you have a good orthopedic doctor. Please continue to write on this forum. It helps so much to know you are not alone.

Hi Nish Taa , so sorry to hear your story.  There are plenty on this forum  that understand your pain (probably all of us!) and Diane is right, it’s good to ‘talk’.  I suspect you’re not from the UK  but are there no support groups near to where you live?    The pain can be absolutely horrible at times but thankfully mine is fairly well controlled at the moment.  Hope you get some relief soon and like Diane says keep writing on here. Good luck Carol x

As far as I know there are no support group for rheumatoid arthritis here. I feel like an alien. There are only two people that I know have arthritis. And both are above 55.Actually I was very young when I was diagnoses rheumatoid .😢 My parents didn't give me the medicines fearing they will cause side effects. So now alllllllllllll my fingers and elbow are deformed.

Hii...both my knees are bone on bone and I can't walk...I'm bedridden since 5 years..but now its enough... I want to do knee and hip replacement but that's now another problem that i am 22 kg and have to gain weight first....I'm asking do you know anyone with bone on bone and can walk....

I apologize for my bad English

Nish taa, I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish I could help. Best I can do is keep talking to you. You are not alone. But you do have it severe. Can you afford physical therapy? Are you seeing the right doctor? Hang in there my friend.

Nish Taa,  first  your English is not poor. It’s better than many English people!  What’s your access to health care like? You sound to be having a very tough time?  I agree with Diane re physio? What do they say? Staying in bed isn’t good for anyone  but if you are constantly in severe pain it must be difficult. Keep strong, sending you a hug. Carol x

No one told me how important exercise was for osteoarthritis nor the doctors told me how disabling the disease can be...doctors are supposed to explaine to patients what the disease do to joints....now I'm doing simple exercise to strengthen the muscles by watching videos on YouTube by myself

My knee is severely bone on bone ..I can't bend my it without experiencing pain.even now my doctor didn't give me exercise to do... My parents don't want me to do operation but I know this is the only way out... Thanks for your reply...I feel relieved after speaking my heart out

Hi Nish taa, Carol is right. Your english is much better than some and exercise will improve your body and mind. Just getting out of bed and sitting in a chair is good. Do deep breathing exs and contract relax the muscles of different body parts. Look that up on the Internet. Hang in there. We care.

You are right.I have insomnia. I should try breathing exercise. I will start it from today .

Thanks
