I have been having pain under armpit area since getting shingles on my face and have another small rash on lower body. Is it my glands? Anyone else have this pain?
Maybe you have another outbreak? It is a virus and I imagine could cause swollen glands, but that other rash is disconcerting. Maybe you need to get to your doctor for a diagnosis and get on the anti-virals ASAP. I do have feelings of swelling in my armpit/glands area on and off.
Thanks for the response, I do have a doctor's appt but not until 6/14! I am hoping to get a prescription for the new vaccine. I will try anything to get the shingles to stop coming back. They are getting worse as I age and stronger in duration.

Is the rash on your lower body look and feel like a shingles rash, ie burning lancinating pain with vesicle-blisters occurring in waves or crops on a red base over a period of 5-7 days? Is the rash one sided?
Where is the shingles rash on your face now? Is it close to your chin and neck area? Is the rash close to your armpit? Are your lymph nodes swollen in one armpit or both armpits?

It was definitely a shingles rash on my lower body. The shingles on my face are on the left side on my cheek. Blisters are flat now and super bright red. No more pain at least. Armpit pain was on opposite side which was strange. I have a Dr appt on the 15th to ask for the new vaccine. I am under 50 so I need prescription.
