Having Vision probem in left eye

I've been having vision issue's in my left for over a month now. I've seen and eye doctor and an eye specialist and they cannot see anything wrong. I do have wet macular degeneration in my left eye which I know what that looks like. The issue I am having is different. I've had lasik done years ago. What is happening is in my left eye, if I move my eye side to side, I see this blur line sweep over my vision. The best way to explain this is the the line is going over my eye like a rear windshield wiper goes over a rear window where the wiper is pointing down. I wake up with my left eye dried shut from this and it really affects my vision.  My eye doctor did give me antibiotic eye drops and an anti inflammatory an I used that for weeks with no improvement at all. I'm not sure where to go from here.

I have a friend who has Macular  degeneration in both eyes I will ask her if she has dry or wet Macular

I think you have 2 problems. The line you can see,going from side to side is most probably a floater....a bit of debris floating in the back of your eye. It cant be seen by an examination and should eventually either settle or you will get used to it.

I dont think this is the cause of your eye  becoming dried shut. You may have dry eye and need some lubricating drops several times a day or even a night time lubricating eye ointment.

Hi Izicc: Do not stop you should see as many specialist as you can until you find an answer to you problem so shop around now a day doctors are not doing there jobs properly all they are doing they are trying different treatment but you have to find the good one and stick to it. we had problem with eye doctor and they do not till you the truth or tell you that they do not know what is wrong to shame to admit that they do not know. so ask friend or people that you are working with if they know a good doctor to see. doctors are a joke they all have same lame excuses My eyes are a mess, drops and anything else I tried does not work.  my eyes are very dry and feel like I have covers over them
