Hi everyone..hope you are all ok...so a couple weeks ago I thought I had guilian barre syndrome and I was put on 20 mg prozac for anxiety...and so the Prozac has helped me so much but I have a head cold for the last two weeks and now I'm back mto worrying I could get this disease or have it as I've heard it can strike after a virus...does anyone know the chances of somebody getting this or how rare is it...please because I do not want my anxiety to shoot back up again or Il be back to square 1...
Rachel, I remember having this same worry years ago. It's weird that others with anxiety worry about neurological conditions. It must be because we fear paralysed with fear and this syndrome causes temp paralysis. What I mean is we fear losing control.
Please, please stop worrying you may win the lotto sooner than getting this
You know deep down you just need reassurance, think of the many times you've had a head cold and you've been fine
