I was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid, Tsh 10.65, my question is does anyone else experience tingling/numbness in your face, arms and legs and also have head pressure?? I've had some anxiety and I think maybe its the cause any thoughts?

Many possible reasons for your symptoms but I wouldn't be surprised if it is connected to your diagnosis. You can drive yourself crazy trying to figure out what is and is not a part of our autoimmune problems. Definitely write all your symptoms down for your next doctor encounter in case it offers a clue to potential treatment. It will help you let go of the symptom and any anxiety about it. Anxiety is part of hypothyroidism and wil be a challenge to overcome and or tolerate. Hoping for a quick normalization of your symptoms.
Thank you so much, I had so many symptoms before I was diagnosed , I have to say, the fatigue and anxiety are the worse, it gets better though...right? I'm hopeful
Hi Amanda. I definitely had horrible tingling and numb fingers before I was diagnosed, along with many other symptoms - although I am lucky in that I have never suffered from anxiety. Hopefully you will feel a lot better once the meds kick in.
