Hello, all.
I have had an on and off headache today but it seemed a little worse not too long ago. I started feeling hot so I took my temperature and it was 99.4. I started freaking out because I'm scared I'm going to die from a stroke.
It is a little hot and humid today so maybe it's because of that? I never have fevers so I'm concerned and more so since I do suffer from health anxiety.
I don't know if it's my anxiety causing it or of its something serious.
My head feels hot too, like the inside of it.
I know no one is a doctor but still.
Before that, I must add that my body felt cold. I Googled the reasons and of course, it said it might be because of a fever. I don't know what to do.
I want to go to the emergency room but it's really not an emergency. My body doesn't feel hot either... at least not right now.
Dr. Google isn't very good when it comes to diagnosis try not to read up on symptoms and get some sleep and try to think positively don't fight anxiety it just makes things worse
Hey
U really do suffer with bad health anxiety don't u? Poor soul, u are just fine, think about your postings, first stroke then heart attack now back to stroke, I can almost 100per cent assure you you are fine, u have to stop letting this take over your life and tell yourself you are fine, the chances at 21 of having a Heart attack or stroke are slim, you can have a temp for a wide number of reasons and if there's no weakness in arm or droopy face, slurring of speech ur fine, please keep positive xx
Is there a reason your so focused on stroke? Is there someone you know or someone in your family who has had one? Or something you've seen on TV? Honestly the chances of you having a stroke at your age are slim to none. And if you were having one you wouldn't have a headache or mild fever... Youd know about it!! I know it's hard, but DONT Google!! Google is not your friend! (I'm as guilty of this as you trust me.) The first thing you need to do is accept that this is anxiety and focus on that rather than all the random physical symptoms it's giving you. Try googling information about anxiety, wellness and mindfulness instead of your physical symptoms. Look up breathing exercises or yoga. And try them out. Or even just information about something else your interested in to distract you. Better still switch off the computer, leave your phone at home and go for a walk. I've felt like I'm dying numerous times and I'm still here talking to you now. Anxiety can not kill you, but it can greatly effect your life if you let it. Good luck, I hope you start to feel better soon x
