Hi I’m 42 and recently I’m having all the peri symptoms along with headaches in the side and back of my head that lasts 3 to 4 days ,and I’m having pain in my eyes along with the headaches ,this is happening after my period plus the blurry vision .is anyone having those symptoms and are they do to hormone 😤
I have this and I think it’s the muscle in my neck that goes over the back of my head that’s causing the problem, i also get sharp stabbing pains too, it sends my health anxiety through the roof x
HI May, yes...happening all weekend and right now actually. Period was over 3 days ago. It was light and only lasted 2 days...but one of the worst as far as my symptoms. I’ve had bad migraines since peri, under control with Lexapro...sort of.
I ran a quick errand this morning and my back of neck and head pressure is awful...so dizzy driving...crazy anxiety! Kind of tension type headache. I have a heat mask in my sinuses now, I’ve had brain scans before as my head feels like it’s going to pop. All normal. Stinking hormones. I’m only 41 going through peri since last year. I am so over this!

I have a headache now and took 2 tablets few hours ago and not working. I am on my period at mo so had this headache everyday so far. I frequently have had the eye pain to although not for a month now. I am on hrt to and not feeling any benefits yet at 6 weeks and still feeling awful with my period at mo, itching driving me insane, daily headaches, awful nervous feeling in mornings b4 came on. Hope you feel better soon ❤️
Thanks for replaying ,it is relief that I know I’m not the only one having those symptoms ,I wish we don’t have to go through this 😤I’m waiting for ct scan appointment 🧐just to be safe and also I’m going for blood test for hormone and thyroid since last time everything came Normal ،
You’re welcome! You probably already know this, but in case you don’t...your hormone levels FSH will be all over the place as you still have periods. In peri, Our ovaries are in pre retirement, not sure if they want to quit on us quite yet😀 Last year, mine tested out post meno 4x 🙄.
Sounds like a migraine ... or menstrual migraine ask your dr for MAXALT works magic within 30 mins . No headache .
Hi May...yea i get awful headaches and weird head sensations ...im in peri for a few years now and the headaches come in clusters...im 47 years old and ive had all the symptims and all scary but now take it as part of the course. I take 2 ibruprofen and 2 paracetamol when it gets bad as this helps...this has been the most challanging time of my life..also get bad sinus too ....but it is getting better with less symtoms and longer times in between so there is light at the end of the tunnel...and you are not alone. Ck.

I'm like Caroline...I get sharp head pains and immediately think the worst. Even though I know it sometimes happens right before my period starts, it always scares me.
Mine I get them after my period and they last 4-5 days 😤😤with the annoying eye pain
Im still waiting for that day too but they are getting less.....hang tight as you are not alone. This is a great forum. Ck
This is exactly my life story, I'm 39 and my peri symptoms started few months ago. All normal yet not normal, my GP put me on lo Loestrin, it's helping somewhat but I still don't feel my normal self. Crazy hormones. I get weird ear symptoms, like blocked, stuffy ears, ringing. Hopefully it'll pass soon for all of us.
Hi Dramisha! Thanks for sharing what you take. I have to go back to gyno next month. I was put on a low dose BCP, then the mini pill...both didn’t agree. Maybe just the brand they gave me wasn’t for me, Hence why I’m on an AD until my next appointment. Thought that was helping,but I was up all night with a pounding migraine. Do you get the dizzies, anxiety, fatigue...is the pill helping you? Thought maybe now that I’m on an AD, I would give the pill another try. Was on BCP for 20 years before...no issues...peri is a whole new ball game. 😕
AD’s gave me bad anxiety ... heart pounding hands sweating just awful. So dr said take Xanax on top of that but I could see just a whole rollercoaster of taking too many drugs .
Pill is definitely helping the mood swings, and anxiety.... it's not all better but definitely eased up... I am hoping it'll continue to work
