Headaches. Anxiety?

hi! I’ve had intense health anxiety for almost 5 years. I’ve not been on medication. i just cant with side effects I can’t chance with my job. I’m usually pretty good at keeping it under control but lately I’ve been getting insane headaches. I work 3 jobs. 2 are essential 1 is out of my home. I now have all my kids home everyday and have no downtime. I’m going to assume its anxiety but I guess just looking for reassurance. it’s a headache that is either on my pressure points, the back of my head, or my eyes. if I keep myself busy, its not so bad, but the second I’m not, it seems so painful. its insane how our mind can make things worse than they are. does anyone else experience this? of course my mind automatically goes to tumor or cancer. I hate this so very much.

sounds like you are under enormous stress which can definitely cause intense headaches. Headaches can be very annoying and they are one of the main reasons for people to speak with their doctor..
you have had anxiety for five years which is a long time. No wonder you have headaches! sounds like they are tension headaches because many times those are felt around the eyes in back of head.
its A difficult time right now to visit your doctor but if you really want to you can do the virtual doctor appointment online. If it brings you peace of mind.
I also think you would benefit from learning how to relax your mind. This could very likely decrease the headaches or the intensity of them . you can search YouTube for some great meditations for anxiety and stress. I do this every night when laying down to sleep and it really helps me a lot! There’s also things on there like sounds of rain, Nature Sounds, and so on. check them out!
Please don’t think worst-case scenario. 99% of headaches are from stress. Remember, you are working three jobs and have the kids at home! that would cause anyone to have headaches.
But remember you need to make time for yourself. It’s important for your well-being. not sure how old your kids are, but make some time to relax by yourself. Take a nice soothing warm bath and place some meditation type music. I get one of those battery operated candles and turn the bathroom lights off and listen to the music. main thing is find time for yourself even if it’s just 10 minutes here or there.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Many times people get headaches because they don’t realize how dehydrated they are.
Counseling can really help you manage the anxiety.
I always recommend that everyone get a complete physical check up with their doctor at least once a year.
You have a lot going on right now. You’re going to be OK. Just try to turn things down a few notches and take time for yourself. Of course if any symptoms get worse, contact your doctor. but I really just think that you are overstressed and over anxious with everything you have to do. Take care of yourself!

It sounds like you are exhausted. Its not a brain tumour or cancer, so get that out of your head. It is your increased work load causing you stress and headaches. Have you tried a nice hot bath, or something else relaxing? Its a shame you are not able to take medication. A xanex would do wonders for you. Are you sleeping well at night? Your brain needs good sleep in order to function correctly. Your body also needs rest or you will get headaches and/or body aches. You sound like you know you are over working yourself, but you must make time for YOU also. You need your downtime in order to stay healthy. Your headaches are the body’s way of telling you that you are overloading it. I would try a good migraine medication like Advil Miagraine tablets to help with the headaches, also if you drink caffeine, make sure you are consistent with how much you drink, if you are used to drinking two cups of coffee or tea a day, make sure you keep drinking the same amount each day, as caffeine withdrawal can also cause headaches. My advice to you is to take a break for an hour each day, downtime for yourself is very important. You cant be an effective parent or as effective at your job(s) if you are suffering. You have to fit that down time in your schedule some how, or it will only get worse. This pandemic has everyone on edge, especially those trying to home school their kids, so you are not alone. i give you much respect and kudos for making it this far without collapsing. I hope this advice helps you. Please get back to me and let me know how you are making out.
