Headaches on reducing?

Hi everyone

Hope you are all coping ok.

I've been on a reduced dose for two weeks now from 10mgs to 5 mgs, as explained in my previous post.

I have always had migraines but I've had this horrible migraine type headache for four days now. I had two really good days prior to this and I know I was eating ice cream a lot. I'm also feeling a bit nauseous at times. Typical symptom of migraine I know.

I was getting headaches and lightheadedness when I was on celexa and I was hoping that these symptoms would go away if I came off it, still hoping.

I am also getting some twinges in my back and chest since yesterday but I am trying not to panic because that could be withdrawal symptons. Has anyone else had this? I read that celexa dilates blood vessels so I guess reducing makes them contract? I got my heart checked out with an echo a couple of years ago and it was fine. I don't smoke or drink and have led a healthy lifestyle since then.

My migraines normally last four to five days in any case, it's just not knowing if it's a migraine or a withdrawal symptom.

I guess I just need reassurance, yet again.

My anxiety is ok, I get the occasional anxiety sensation but I am learning to control it with breathing and trying to erase it from my mind before it takes a grip.

Thanks for reading and apologies for the whinge.

Best wishes all

👍Thanks anyway. Hope you're all having a good day!☺
