Hi guys,
I was recently diagnosed with having 3 gallstones about 8mm in size. I had an ultrasound due to upper right abdominal pain.
I felt fine after finding out what it was and had very little symptoms for about 2 months.
However, for the last 2-3 weeks I seem to be getting headaches every day. I can't see any pattern to them but they gradually seem to come on throughout the day. I still get occasional twinges of pain in my right side but haven't suffered an 'attack' like others.
Has anyone else experienced these headaches? And if so, did they go once you had your gallbladder removed?
It is really getting me down and I just generally feel unwell and fatigued all the time.
Hi Dear,
I never had an headache when I have the gallstone but the terrible symptoms I had was having like a heart attack and I had a shortness of breath.
After gall bladder removal there are patients recover immediately for a weeks and back to normal. All the symptoms will gone but there are some patients too contineously sufferring for a couple of months due to gall bladder removal.
I had headaches, usually he hind my left eye, down into my neck and shoulders, and further into my back. The neck, shoulder, and back pain is gone, after gallbladder removal(which was March 2nd), but still having weird feelings and headaches, behind that eye. 6 days since surgery, and still not feeling good. Nausea, fatigue, insomnia, no appetite, and weakness, mainly left side. I fear something else is going on!
Yes I got headaches too Steven.
I think it was from a combination of constantly feeling sick and being in pain. Plus it becomes difficult to eat and drink without fear and the stress of everything contributes.
