Health Anxeity and terrible thoughts

hello all. hope all is well with everyone. i just have a few concerns and this place always puts my mind at ease! anyways, ive had this pain in my left shoulder that gets worse whenever i do activities with that side. also have this pain in my left side of my rib cage and both pains get worse whenever i breathe and especially whenever i breathe in deeply. any thoughts? thanks!

usually the most common causes for rib cage pain when breathing is bruised ribs or a pulled muscle. The shoulder pain may not be related to the rib pain. common reasons for shoulder pain can be overuse, strain, sleeping on your side , or a tendon rubbing on your shoulder blade. Think if you have overused it in any way.
if any symptoms continue, let your doctor know so they can figure out what’s going on. you will be OK!

you will be fine so relax. first i need to know if you are on any medications, if you are, you need to check the side effects of those medications to your symptoms. if you are unable to do this, tell me the medication you are on and i will research the hell out of it. secondly, i will ask the position you sleep in at night, do you sleep on your stomach and ribs? do you have a hard or soft mattress? have you flipped the mattress recently or changed the mattress as they do wear out. if you dont think you bruised your ribs or hurt you shoulder during sports, horsing around or possibly heavy lifting, then we try to examine how you sleep. heavier people have this problem all the time especially if they sleep on the subject ribs or shoulders. i know it sounds far fetched but it happens. if your ribs are sore from sleeping on them, it makes sense you would hurt when taking a deep breath. also, again a stretch, but do you have sinuses or allegies ? i ask because they can cause pains in the chest and difficulty breathing due to mucus, post nasal drip entering your lungs and causing the pain. so let me know about these things i asked, and we will try to figure out the cause of your troubles together. okay? you are not alone and we all have these problems occasionally. so hang in there, relax, and we will figure it out. get back to me.
