Health Anxiety - ache in left thigh for almost 3 weeks

I'm a 16 year old female with major health anxiety. It all started about a year and a half ago and I've gone made crazy ever since, I focus on everything on my body. I've had every anxiety symptom. Currently my problem is a left thigh ache. It's more towards the outer side that aches. I'm convinced I have bone cancer but I'm too scared to go to the doctor. Please help. I think my anxiety has gotten the best of me and making me think I have every disease possible

You do not have cancer, you are suffering Anxiety and that makes you feel Anxious and stressful

The ache in the out side of your thigh sounds like you have been doing some form of activity that has pulled a muscle and , you may have pulled a nerve in your thigh. Depending on how long ago you noticed this problem it should be sorting eventually. You could try a shower, run warm water through the shower head and run the water over the sore area, this should help. If is still around after two to three weeks talk to your GP. He will try and determine what has caused your sore thigh

If you are in need of some pain killers initially ask your Mam to get some medications in the chemist, NSIDs may help over the short term.

Hi. It is your anxiety. You do need to go to your Drs for some help. He can do a health check and then you can come up with a plan that can get you some help. Have you spoken to your parents??

Thank you so much for the reassurance. Googling all the symptoms of bone cancer has driven me insane. I also think I pulled a muscle or nerve but with this anxiety, I immediately jump to conclusions and think of the worst! I will do what you have recommended, thank you for the help, really appreciate it!!

I know it's my anxiety but my brain is constantly jumping to the worst possible conclusions and I absolutely hate it! I don't want to go the doctors because she will think I am insane because I've diagnosed myself with so many things, I'm ashamed of myself at this point.  I've spoken to my mom about it but she just listens to me and that's all.
