Hey guys, how are you...I've been dealing with Health anxiety for 3 months now and this week with something new...I googled leukaemia symptoms and you know have that fear of having it I wonder if it's only me who is experiencing this types of symptoms such as shortness of breath, rapid pulse,and this lymph node on my neck have been swollen for 1 month,fatigue but I still can do things . I'm really scared about this.I took a blood test two weeks ago and results came clear.I'm really freaked our I'm writing this with tremble.Please someone respond.btw I haven't been exposed to any of the leukaemia risk increased. I'm a 13 year old boy living in China. X
I promise you that if you had leukemia it would have shown up on your blood tests. There are a lot of other things that can cause your lymph nodes to be swollen such as a simple virus. I think your other symptoms are probably from your anxiety, which is kicking into overdrive because you googled the symptoms and some of them fit what you are experiencing. Are you being treated for your anxiety? I don't know how it works in China but if you can talk to your doctor about everything you are feeling and maybe get a referral to a psychiatrist and a therapist to start treatment for your anxiety, I think you will find that to be very helpful. Also NO MORE GOOGLE!!! That is a sure fired way to get your health anxiety going and in turn making you feel worse. Good Luck!!!
