Health anxiety and solutions

Hello. I'm having problems with health anxiety and depression. My biggest problem which is fueling most of it is as soon as I have a strange feeling in my body which is usually in my chest or abdomen I think about it.

I think why is it doing it? What is causing it? How is it going to make me feel?

Does anyone have any good techniques to help with the thoughts? It's harder when I'm at work or doing something I don't really want to do. My low mood makes it harder to do much.

Hi Chris I can relate to how u feel I get a weird sensation threw my body before I panick shops are my gear as I took a funny turn in shop when I had sinius infection I take breathes as I feel it on chest it may sound funny but I like having a hot water bottle to make me calm or a hot bath

Best technique is knowledge. Learn all you can about an anxiety disorder, panic attacks, Generalized anxiety disorder. Learn the actual science of what happens in the body under extreme stress too. This is where you lack info thats why you question it so much. You can self teach all this too. Utube, pinterest..the internet search... Adrenaline and the vagus nerve in anxiety.  You have a lot to learn. This will help calm you.
