Health anxiety back

I've been doing really well with my anxiety for about a month.  It was a relief.  Started working out now my back and shoulders hurt so I assume I have lung cancer or ms.   Went to urgent care yesterday for back pain because it moves around.  Doctor said muscle strain.  But in my anxiety ridden head I have to google (which I know better).  Hoping it will go away again.  But I'm on my period , which only intensifies anxiety.  I'm just shy of turning 48 and I'm so tired of this.  I long for a month again  that it stays away.

Same here Paige. It’s so frustrating. I was doing really well for a while and now it’s back again after I got some tests back. Funny thing is they came back normal but now I’m really sure we’ve missed something. It is really exhausting! And I’m only 18 and terrified of living like this for the rest of my life... ugh

Hi Paige, did you ease yourself back into exercise because if you’ve taken a break from it and gone straight back into full exercise, your muscles are not going to like it and will react to a change in activity. That is far more likely than anything serious. Maybe get a massage, physio or see a chiropractor. I had to when I hurt my back through too much cycling and it did the trick for me. Also yes, periods make things so much worse and the older I get the more they affect me, which totally sucks!
